Well Keeper Reflections

Public·180 Well Keepers

Connection. Well. Keeping.

Connection across the Northern Hemisphere.

Virginia in British Columbia.

Me (Michele) in New England.

Kaja in Norway.

Feeling our trio when I awoke.

A flow of writing to begin the day...

Well Keeping.

What does this mean?

Keeping well. Good. Wellness. Health.

A well, stones that hold a deep well of water.

An inkwell, holding ink for the quill to dip into.

To write, to express, to share.

Keeping.

A clock keeper, the keeper of time.

Tending, paying attention.

The "Keeping Room" of the 18th century colonial home I grew up in.

A place to gather, held by a gigantic warm hearth.

Safe Keeping.

Well Keeping.

Holding the whole of the earth and all who inhabit these

lands, oceans, rivers, mountains, valleys, deserts and skies.

A well, something to dip into for nourishment.

A resource.

Many wells within each of us.

Tending.

Sharing of resources.

Three Well Keepers spanning time zones,

connecting continents across an ocean.

Well Keeping.

Connection.

We are all keepers of one another.

People, animals, plants, birds, communities of everything,

collectively holding the threads that weave us together.

Well Keeping as an intention.

A concept.

A way of Being.

On this day.

Why not every day.

A gentle care, simple, without effort or doing.

Suddenly I hear...

"All will be well."

I wonder, who said that, and think, I will look it up tomorrow.

It was Julian of Norwich, 14th century English mystic,

in her book Revelations of Divine Love.

"All shall be well,

and all shall be well,

and all manner of things shall be well."

All is well, beneath any surface noise, stress or static.

We may return to Well Keeping

at any moment,

throughout any day,

in any place.

All is well.

A Well Keeping Day.

An invitation to pause.

To remember the natural world.

All that holds and nourishes.

Keeping us well.

Keeping.

Maintaining.

Protecting.

Connecting.

Taking Care.

Care Taking.

Such unique and special people who tend the well and walk in this world with a conscious experience of care, love and connection. With gratitude that this is so and I am here to bear witness.🥰
