July 17 was my day to be the well keeper.. In the months leading up to this day, I pictured how I would honor it, but of course it was entirely different than I expected. Instead, after a challenging day before, I just decided to settle into the moment. I began holding this picture of my arms opened wide. Not the narrowness of day-to-day concerns but flung open wide to hold the world in my arms. That seemed to be just the right thing. I started by cleaning and clearing the energy. And periodically I just sat and meditated with the image of a circle surrounding and including everyone - all our good deeds and intentions all our mistakes and misteps - one great, interconnected, planer i was surrounding with my love.

I feel very honored to be a well keeper and to join all of you.
