My experience with Well Keepers was extraordinary. One that is not very not easily captured in words but I will try. When the time came around I was awestruck by the enormity of what I was to do. Wondering, can I really do this? Just thinking of being one person holding the planet earth, 8 billion people and all the rest of life and nonlife was overwhelming. Then I thought, why not me and I will just do what I can and see what unfolds. Maryse, Well Keeper, before me, sent a lovely note with a poem entitled, "Promise me you . .".which created an opening for me to hold the earth in my hands, heart, and soul and to be who I am and no less.
Then I walked for miles along the shore of Lake Michigan in northern Michigan throughout the day. The earth and I had many long conversations noticing the beauty and the dilemmas. As the day was closing, I came across a rather tall stick in the beach sand and used that as my microphone and facing Lake MI to send a message to the universe, 8 billion people, world leaders, etc. to hold the earth with love, appreciation, healing and honor the spirit of earth as one. It was a transformative experience that is hard for me to put into words.
I will sign up for another session so I can continue to be part of women across this world who care deeply for our planet.
