Well Keeper Reflections

When the river came to me...

Not unlike Mynda's day of Wellkeeping, LIFE delivered a slight change of plans that shifted my day's experiences in an unexpected and delightful way.

After weeks of extreme heat that have parched the earth around me, yesterday it rained ALL day. A beautiful constant pitter patter of light rain that soaked deeply into the ground and provided much welcome replenishment to EVERYTHING.

The coolness in the air, the birds chirping, the puddles that formed...all reminding me of how precious this aspect of the rejuvenation cycle is. What a joy it was to be watching the well fill as I tended it - in a full sensory immersion! This meant that instead of visiting the river (as I had planned), the river came to me - guiding me towards a much more internal day of reflection and appreciation for what nature provides. Harvesting food from my garden... mending as a way of re-using resources...creating songs from a wooden flute to sing along with birds.

My usual busy life seemed a world away as my soul did a big beautiful deep reset to align closer to my true nature.

Blessings to those who reached out to be with me yesterday from the other side of the planet. It was a welcome and timely reminder of the shared aspect to this sacred space that we are holding together.

Pam I so love your reflection and the “full sensory experience” of it! Filling the well literally and figuratively ~ and the blessings being spread across the parched land. That is often the way I experience a day of silence ~ deep nourishing energy filling up the cells of my body. Thank you for this beautiful holding across the planet east to west and north to south. 🥰
