The Weave of an Ordinary Day in the Garden of Earth:
I began the day with mindful completion ordinary tasks, which included a particular blessing to surround the upheaval between the governments of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon and Iran. I imagined a blanket of forgiveness falling over those persons in power who can’t fathom or won’t allow there to be, a world of peace.
To another area of devastation, caused by nature’s imbalance rather than man’s infighting, I offered a prayer and donation to help those in the southeastern part of the U.S. who lost everything, including loved ones in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
This afternoon my husband and I met the son of a neighbor who is a passionate and prolific artist. He donates a large number of his works to non-profit organizations that he believes makes the world a better place. We bought one of his pieces because we love his work and want to support his efforts.
In the fading light of day, I went to the nearby creek to check on the salmon that have been arriving to spawn for the last 3 weeks. My eyes and nose told me that most of the fish are completing the spawning process and are now entering the cycles of death and gestation--all in the continuous flow of the water.
My husband and I complete this evening in love and gratitude. 🍁🍁
Thank you - I feel your blessing and enfolment of the world bubling to new levels.
