Well Keeper Reflections

Public·171 Well Keepers

As my day of well keeping began I learned that the new owners of my caravan were coming to pick it up - a delightful, kind-hearted family. I felt the emotion of letting go of a loved "friend" and shared this with the family who responded, conveying a sentiment of caring stewardship.

It became obvious to me that I needed to stay at home and in my neighbourhood letting January 8th unfold in its own unique way. It's been magic: a verdant garden to sit in, five hens to quietly commune with, super staff in my two favourite cafes serving delicious nourishing food. A dance with solitude and social company.

I've thought, too, of you all, around the world in diverse places. Connected life! Moment by moment. At the core of it all is the deep well of stillness for which I am immensely grateful to know with increasing measure through the simple opportunities in a day, every day.

This day is coming to a close

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
