Thankfully I planned to be up early this morning to carve time for my wellkeeper day. I spent over an hour in quiet reflection and took time to honor the coming winter solstice very early as much of the rest of the day was quite busy with work and getting ready to travel for the holidays.

But the morning was beautifully quiet and the winter sunrise out my bedroom window was a perfect accompaniment to my spiritual practice.

I connected in my heart to all those around the world who have participated in the wellkeeping endeavor and felt full of gratitude for those who conceived of and have faithfully stewarded this project.

Now it is almost 9 pm here and I’m again in quiet solitude and preparing to pass the mantle to Jane.
